But next to trendy gourmet places, in any case you have to visit a local, typical Styrian, so called, Buschenschank in our neighbourhood. It's basically a cosy traditional wine tavern were, by law, only home made food and wine is served. We call it an 'instituiton' and Austrians from all over the country and well informed foreigners, just come for this very unique experience. So don't miss it!

HIKING & BIKING

 

Explore some of the 46 hiking trails, with their small refreshment stations, idyllic cycling routes and forest trails. Hiking and biking maps can be found in our house. Within a 15 minutes drive you will find the  entry point  to one of our most beautiful hiking places - 'The hiking route for all senses' (Weinweg der Sinne)! Explore Feldbach - the district's capital. As a friendly city with a certain "small town charm", Feldbach offers its visitors many opportunities, which are usually reserved for large cities. The jewel of the city is the Tabor Museum.

Bad Radkersburg is a beautiful old town and invites you to stroll around.

 

The city of Graz is not just Europe's geografical heart, but also the capital of the Federal State of Styria. Its old town is an amazing, UNESCO-listed area with a young and artsy heart. Graz is Austrias second biggest city after Vienna. You can reach it by bus, train or car within an hour drive.

Take advantage of the 30km proximity to Slovenia and Hungary for a day trip to the cities, wine regions and beautiful landscapes of our neighbouring countries.

Discover a lot of marvelous castles and palaces (Schlößerstraße) from the mid-ages close to our B&B.

 

TIP: Visit our 'sister company' in the Southeast Styrian vineyards in the borderland between Hungary, Slovenia - the Grenzlandhof, which is an Bed 'n' Breakfast too. The growing area of ​​our family, award-winning wines are located there.
